As of the 19th of May, 2019, the Western Shore Team Benefice, which joined St Mary the Virgin in Heacham and St Mary's in Snettisham, has come to an end. The two churches, though no longer working together in a benefice, will undoubtedly maintain a close relationship in many ways.
The Rev. Veronica Wilson, who has served as Rector in the Benefice for the past four years, will become Priest in Charge of St Mary's Heacham (or Heacham Parish Charge). Snettisham St Mary's have begun the search to find a new team vicar for the parish.
For the time being the e website https://www.heachamsnettisham.org.uk will continue to provide information regarding services and events taking place in both churches.
